Lectra Shield is a long term indoor/outdoor corrosion inhibitor for machined surfaces and assemblies subjected to long periods of storage or adverse shipping conditions. It displaces moisture and provides a transparent, amber waxy film for heavy protection of parts, equipment and machinery. Lectra Shield will provide protection of equipment subject to heat, humidity, chemicals or corrosive atmospheres.
Disposal requirements vary by state and local regulations. All used and unusedproduct should be disposed of in conformance with local, state and commonwealthlaws and regulations.
Do not puncture, incinerate or store above 500C. Exposure to high temperatures maycause can to burst. Do not place in direct sunlight or near any heat source. Aerosolcans will conduct electricity. Keep away from all live electrical sources includingbattery terminals, solenoids, electrical panels and other electronic components.Failure to observe this warning may result in serious injury from flash fire and/orelectric shock.
Use only in well ventilated area. Ventilation may be improved by opening a window ordoor or providing mechanical assistance. Avoid continuous breathing of vapour andspray mist. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If ventilation is not adequate,respiratory protection should be worn. CRC Lectra Shield is an inhibited coating that forms a transparent, amber film that dries to touch in one or two hours. It provides excellent protection through extreme temperature ranges. Will not craze or crack.
